Terk Oncology is pleased to announce the addition of our newly acquired Elekta Infinity, a highly
advanced digital linear accelerator. Elekta Infinity reduces the time required for radiotherapy sessions to five minutes or
less, while giving clinicians the ability to treat targets more aggressively than ever before. Elekta Infinity incorporates
Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT), an innovative way to deliver radiation treatments that is a significant improvement
to existing advanced radiation therapy techniques.
Elekta Infinity continuously irradiates the target area while the source of the beam rotates around
the patient. Only Elekta Infinity has the ability to perform VMAT treatments with multiple arcs, offering clinicians the ability
to choose single or multiple arcs depending upon a patient's unique treatment plan. With Elekta Infinity's VMAT technology,
a treatment session typically can be conducted in five minutes or less, including true 3D imaging at the time and place of
treatment. The integrated 3D visualization capabilities of Elekta Infinity result in unmatched clinical confidence, enabling
more aggressive treatment of tumors while minimizing damage to surrounding healthy tissue. We highly value the relationships
